Full Job Description Pipefitter Foreman Salary:
Commensurate with skills and experience

Stratford, CT Hours:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm (site-specific hours may apply)

Available Summary:
Pipe Fitter work to install and/or repair HVAC equipment, components, piping systems and associated materials per the project plans and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Treat all people associated with Main Enterprises, both internally and externally, with respect, honesty and integrity always. Work with a safe attitude promoting safe working practices. Obtain and maintain a complete set of necessary tools and equipment. Install, repair, replace, copper, black steel, and Victaulic piping systems. Install repair, and replacement air Handlers, condensing units, cooling towers, heat exchangers, boilers, VRF systems and chillers. Locate and mark positions for piping penetrations and equipment locations. Install supports and hangers for pipe and HVAC equipment. Install, repair and replacement of refrigerant piping and systems. Skilled in various methods of grooving, cutting, threading, soldering, and brazing piping. Testing pipe systems and equipment for leaks. Meet all applicable trade and building codes Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Valid CT Driver's License and Reliable Transportation CT Trade License - S-1 or
S-2 OSHA
10 and/or 30 Certified for Scissor and Boom Lift Capable of giving direction and reading specifications & blueprints. Ability to manage a crew size of (2) to (10) workers successfully.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Climb ladders 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 ft. and extension ladders where scissor lift doesn't apply. Climb stairwells Use of all required PPE (personal protective equipment) Able to lift 75 lbs. Install piping systems per plans, specifications and coordinated drawings. Rig heavy equipment off load truck and equipment.
