We self-perform every phase with our own W-2 crews and our own equipment. We are the official court builder for the US Open Pickleball Championship, and we hold Florida Certified Building Contractor License
CBC1263668.
The Role We are hiring hands-on crew leaders who lead from the front. You are on the tools all day, building the work with your crew — and at the same time you run the crew: setting the pace, holding the quality, and keeping the job on schedule and safe. This is a working-foreman role for someone who is heavily experienced in chain-link fence, concrete, trenching and excavation, and footings and foundations, and who can lead a Spanish-speaking crew in both English and Spanish. What You'll Do
  • Lead from the tools — run a hands-on crew of 2-6 while building the work alongside them every day.
  • Chain-link fence, start to finish — set line, terminal and corner posts in concrete footings; hang top, mid and bottom rail; stretch 9-ga fabric; install tension bars, gates and hardware; build 4-ft through 10-ft-plus heights, including weight-rated fence to carry acoustic panels.
  • Concrete works — form, pour and finish perimeter curbs, slabs, footings and flatwork to line, grade and finish.
  • Trenching & excavation — dig and grade for drainage, footings and foundations; cut to the correct depth, grade and slope per the plans.
  • Footings & foundations — set net-post, light-pole and shade-structure foundations plumb, on dimension and to spec.
  • Lay out the work — read plans and shop drawings and set out the job using string lines, dimensions and grades.
  • Run equipment — operate and maintain skid steer, mini-excavator, auger, plate compactor, and concrete and power tools.
  • Drive daily production — manage materials, sequencing and crew assignments to hit the schedule.
  • Own quality & safety — enforce OSHA safety, keep a clean and organized site, and carry the punch list through to client handover.
  • Communicate — give the project manager a clear daily update and coordinate deliveries and inspections.
  • Develop the crew — train and bring along crew members. What You Bring (Required)
  • Fully bilingual English / Spanish — able to lead the crew and communicate clearly with project managers and clients in both languages.
  • 5+ years hands-on construction experience, with a proven track record leading or running a crew.
  • Heavy, demonstrated experience in all four core trades: chain-link fence installation; concrete work (form, pour, finish); trenching and excavation; and footings and foundations.
  • Able to read construction plans and shop drawings and lay out work accurately from dimensions and grades.
  • Competent operating a skid steer, mini-excavator and auger.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across Southwest Florida.
  • Your own set of basic hand tools and steel-toe boots.
  • Physically able to perform heavy labor outdoors in Florida heat, year-round. Bonus Points
  • Sports court, tennis or pickleball construction experience.
  • Familiarity with asphalt base, drainage, curbing and acrylic court surfacing.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 card.
  • Additional equipment tickets, CDL, or forklift certification.
  • First Aid / CPR. Physical Requirements Regularly lift and carry 50-75 lbs; stand, bend, kneel, dig, reach and climb throughout the shift; and work outdoors in heat, sun and variable weather year-round. What We Offer
  • Steady, year-round work — we self-perform every phase, so there are no seasonal layoffs between projects.
  • Competitive pay based on experience, plus overtime.
  • Company equipment and tools — we run our own paver, compactors and rigs, not rentals.
  • A real path to advance to Foreman and Superintendent.
  • Championship-grade work — build the same courts we deliver for the US Open Pickleball Championship.
