COUGAR CONTRACTING
is seeking an
UNDERGROUND UTILITIES CONSTRUCTION & INSTALLATION
(WATER, SEWER, & DRAINAGE)
PUNCH LIST FOREMAN.
The primary responsibility is to be the main point of contact to resolve punch list issues for all projects processed by the Project Managers. You will play a pivotal role in our underground utility installation projects and manage the punch out crew, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems while maintaining quality and adhering to project specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the punch out crew, including equipment operators, laborers, and skilled workers, providing clear direction and guidance. Enforce strict adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines. Coordinate and schedule daily work activities, ensuring that the crew meets project deadlines and milestones. Maintain effective communication with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues, report progress, and address changes in project scope. Ensure all punch list items are completed to satisfaction. Must be able to intelligently communicate with clients and inspectors. Attention to detail is essential.
Job Qualifications:
Five (5) years of specifically related experience in underground utilities construction installation. Working knowledge of Southwest Florida construction codes. Earthwork grading knowledge is preferred. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety protocols and procedures. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Currently residing local to Fort Myers area (within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 30 miles or less).
