is now taking resumes/ hiring a bilingual (French/English) Working multi-trades Foreman. Some of our clients, chefs/ house managers etc speak French as their native language. This will help alleviate costly mistakes due to communication misunderstandings. Must be a Polk County Florida resident. This is both a hands on and supervisory position. The candidate must be willing and able to do both. The candidate must be able to lift 60-80 pounds safely and regularly when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a combination of education and experience in General Construction including heavy equipment operations, excavation, site layout, concrete finishing, and masonry/blockwork. They must also be skilled in ALL facets of Carpentry including, forms, scaffolding, framing, trim, siding, docks, barns, seawalls, cabinetry, etc. They must have experience overseeing all phases of residential, and commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have education and experience in mechanical, industrial, machine shop fabrication heavy equipment/truck repair to help maintain/troubleshoot construction equipment and tools. They must have safety training and experience. They must have experience reading Interpreting, and following construction plans. They must have initiative, integrity, a good work ethic, and a clean professional (business like) appearance. They will responsibly interact directly with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, etc. with little oversight. They must be organized and be able to perform paperwork and conduct safety meetings. Project Management experience is a plus.

Education minimum:

High School Diploma but an Associates Degree or higher in a construction, design, or engineering field is preferred. Excellent communications skills with a polite, positive, humble, service, solutions oriented, confident demeanor. Must have a valid drivers license and experience operating heavy equipment including, forklift, loader, excavator, skid steer, back hoe, various lifts, large trucks, telehandlers, pulling trailers, etc. Must have extensive experience using hand, electric, pneumatic, and shop tools and equipment. Must be willing to take random drug tests, and meet almost all of these qualifications. Respectfully, If you do not meet almost all of these qualifications please do not apply. EOE.
