Job Description

Job Summary AWF is looking to connect great people with great opportunities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee electrical construction projects within the commercial sector. In this role, you will coordinate and manage electrical crews, ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, and deliver high-quality electrical installations on time and within budget. Your leadership will be vital in interpreting technical drawings, managing project schedules, and maintaining excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive project success through expert management of electrical operations on large-scale commercial sites. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and manage electrical crews to execute construction tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems. Coordinate construction schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore to meet project deadlines. Oversee daily site activities, including safety inspections in compliance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations. Manage procurement, budgeting, and resource allocation for electrical components and labor to optimize project efficiency. Conduct regular quality control checks and supervise the inspection of work to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation using tools like Prolog or HeavyBid to maintain accurate records. Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and blueprints for proper installation of electrical systems such as pipelines, conduits, lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Ensure construction safety management practices are followed rigorously across all phases of the project. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial construction management with a strong background in electrical systems installation and supervision. Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Primavera. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment with excellent crew management skills. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project planning, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations for safe site operations. Experience supervising multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality control standards. Competence in managing budgets, procurement processes, contracts administration, and change order procedures. Ability to communicate clearly with management teams and field personnel; strong managerial communication skills are essential. Knowledge of construction safety management practices specific to heavy commercial projects involving pipelines or complex electrical infrastructure is preferred. Certification in relevant safety training programs such as OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour is highly desirable. Join us if you're ready to lead impactful projects with energy and precision!
