This position is ideal for a highly skilled problem solver with extensive commercial service experience who can independently diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues, lead field crews, and build strong relationships with customers while maintaining PCM's high standards of safety and quality. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a highly experienced commercial plumbing service professional with extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and their functions. This individual is a self-starter who can independently assess, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing issues with minimal supervision. They possess exceptional troubleshooting skills, strong technical expertise, and a professional, customer-focused approach when working with clients, project managers, and field teams. In addition to leading crews, they take pride in delivering quality workmanship, maintaining safe jobsites, and representing Paulson-Cheek Mechanical with integrity and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise commercial plumbing service crews. Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues with minimal supervision. Perform and oversee service work, repairs, installations, and system modifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, vendors, and customers. Maintain safe, organized, and productive jobsites. Provide professional customer service and technical guidance in the field. Independently assess, diagnose, and resolve complex commercial plumbing problems with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of commercial plumbing service experience strongly preferred. Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and functions. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and solve plumbing problems. Previous Foreman, Lead Plumber, or Service Lead experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Licenses & Certifications Active Plumbing License OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Backflow Certification Medical Gas Certification Additional industry certifications are a plus. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel throughout the Southeast as project needs require. This position includes a company vehicle. Paulson-Cheek Mechanical will schedule and pay for the required DOT physical. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing the DOT physical. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $40.00-$55.00, based on qualifications and relevant experience. Performance-based bonus opportunities. Company vehicle provided.
