You understand that success comes from developing a high-performing team, creating an exceptional customer experience, and delivering quality work safely and efficiently. We're looking for a Plumbing Field Supervisor to lead our growing plumbing team in Indianapolis. In this role, you'll oversee daily field operations, mentor and develop plumbers and apprentices, ensure quality workmanship, and partner with leadership to continue growing one of the area's premier residential plumbing service teams. You'll be responsible for supporting and coaching technicians in the field, maintaining high standards for safety and customer satisfaction, and helping drive team performance through hands-on leadership and accountability. What Will I Do? This position requires regular on-site field visits Ensure the safety of employees, customers, and job sites Drive exceptional customer and employee satisfaction Maintain a high level of professionalism, accountability, and patience with team members and customers Foster a culture of performance excellence, teamwork, and continuous development Lead, coach, and develop plumbers and apprentices to achieve individual and team success Drive departmental revenue and profitability through ongoing training, coaching, and field support Maintain operational excellence through accurate invoicing, inventory management, safety compliance, and reporting Provide consistent technical, customer service, and sales training Promote lead generation opportunities and educate the team on identifying additional customer needs Monitor and reduce callbacks, warranty work, and quality issues through coaching and accountability Resolve escalated customer concerns while delivering a best-in-class customer experience Conduct ride-alongs, field observations, and performance coaching sessions to support technician growth
Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes? Proven experience in the residential plumbing industry 5+ years of residential plumbing experience, including leadership, supervisory, or mentoring responsibilities Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and industry best practices Demonstrated ability to coach and develop service technicians Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to prioritize tasks, set goals, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines Prior experience with Service Titan software is a plus Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills Ability to analyze performance metrics and use data to coach technicians and improve results Positive energy and enthusiasm to drive sales and company growth Equal Opportunity Employer Wrench Group and its affiliates are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
