Overview We are currently hiring an experienced pipefitter foreman permanently located/living in the Greater Cincinnati area. Must have the capability to manage large and small piping projects in Commercial and Industrial settings. Duties/Responsibilites Manage/lead 2-6 employees in Commercial/Industrial environments. Responsible for overall coordination, evaluation, planning, assigning, and directing work. Ability to perform pipe cutting, threading, soldering, brazing, pressing, grooving, mechanical joint systems and welding; assembling and installing pipe, connecting valves, instrumentation, setting tanks/equipment, and pressure testing finished work. Pipe materials include carbon steel stainless steel, copper, PVC, and CPVC. Experience working with butt-weld and socket welded carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems. Perform small rigging activities for pipe and equipment utilizing chains falls/hoists, come-along winches/ratchets, forklift with jibs etc. Interpret plan drawings, elevation view drawings, Process and Instrument Diagrams, project scope and specifications; to understand the project. Accurately perform pipe routing layout measurements, create field isometric pipe drawings for fabrication derived from drawings, P&IDs, and field generated measurements including material take-offs and cut lengths from the field. Coordinate with Project Manager to plan and schedule jobsite crew, subcontractors, and materials/equipment. Accurately report all jobsite time with our office in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements Driver's license with clean driving record (Required). Ability to pass criminal background check and motor vehicle check. Experience supervising pipe-fitting crews, preferably in a Commercial/Industrial environment. Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 10 or 30 certified a PLUS. Additional Requirements Punctual, organized, and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to work well and communicate with others. Must be able to prepare clear, accurate, and professional reports with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to comfortably list up to 50lbs.
