Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman and General Laborer to join our landscape and construction team. This role involves overseeing crew operations, performing outdoor landscaping tasks, and ensuring the successful completion of grounds maintenance and hardscape projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with landscaping, grounds maintenance, and equipment operation, along with strong leadership skills to manage a crew effectively. Responsibilities Lead and manage a crew of laborers to complete landscaping and construction projects efficiently and safely. Perform outdoor work including excavation, grounds maintenance, planting, grading, and landscape installation. Operate various landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools. Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stone or concrete features. Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications. Coordinate project timelines, materials, and resources to meet deadlines. Support team members in completing physical tasks related to landscape construction and maintenance. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or construction preferred. Experience managing or supervising a crew is highly desirable. Knowledge of grounds maintenance practices and operation of landscaping equipment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Pay:
