Responsibilities:

Excavation and grading for site utilities, including sewer and water service hookups/repairs and sanitary sewer/water/storm sewer main installation; digging residential basements; septic system installation and repair; demolition; parking lots, streets, walking trails; residential developments; commercial developments; commercial buildings, etc. Read and understand project plans, specifications, surveys, and onsite staking Operate of heavy machinery (Excavator, Dozer, Scraper, Skid Loader, Compactor, etc.) Daily inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment Operate work equipment including GPS equipment and lasers, power tools, hand tools, and specialized instruments Communicate with foreman and project manager to understand job requirements and execute schedule

Qualifications:

2+ years of equipment operation (Dozer, Excavator, Skid Loader, etc.) Understanding of plans, specifications, surveys and onsite staking; translate to GPS and laser use Understanding of construction industry rules, regulations, and common practices Experience in one or more of the following is

REQUIRED
