Depending on the assignment, you may help someone get ready for the day, prepare a meal, assist with mobility, provide personal care, complete a bathing visit, or simply spend time with someone who could use the companionship. Why Consider Summit Home Care? $20.00-$22.00/hour based on experience $32.00-$34.00 per bathing/shower visit Part-Time opportunities Weekend opportunities available Field-based caregiving More independence throughout your workday Meaningful client interaction Variety of client assignments Scheduling team that works to cluster clients geographically whenever possible Support from an established Minnesota healthcare organization What You'll Do Depending on the client and assignment, you'll: Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility and transfer assistance Help with meal preparation and daily routines Provide companionship and conversation Assist with light household tasks related to client care Encourage independence whenever possible Observe changes and communicate concerns Complete required documentation Help clients remain safe and comfortable at home You Already Have the Skills We're especially interested in caregivers coming from Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, Home Care, group homes, or other direct-care environments .
Your experience as a:
Home Health Aide (HHA) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Direct Support Professional (DSP) Resident Assistant (RA) Nursing Assistant Assisted Living or Memory Care Caregiver Home Care Professional can translate directly into this position. CNA certification is welcomed but not required. You'll need at least one year of caregiving experience supporting multiple clients , reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, and the ability to travel between client homes. You'll also need to be comfortable working independently and considering assignments in multiple areas within our service territory . There's More Than One Way to Make a Difference Summit also offers dedicated bathing and shower visits paying $32.00-$34.00 per visit . For someone who needs assistance, that visit can be an important part of maintaining their hygiene, confidence, dignity, and ability to continue living at home. Bathing visits may be combined with other Part-Time caregiving assignments based on client needs and availability.
