Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter/Remodeling Technician with 3-10 years of residential construction experience to join our growing team. While we specialize in designing and building custom decks, our company also performs all aspects of home remodeling, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, framing, siding, windows, doors, trim, and exterior renovations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a team to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Build custom wood and composite decks, pergolas, porches, and outdoor living spaces. Perform residential remodeling projects from demolition through final punch list. Complete framing, finish carpentry, trim installation, siding, windows, doors, flooring, drywall, and general carpentry. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. Measure, cut, and install materials accurately and efficiently. Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members. Ensure projects meet company quality standards and local building codes. Identify and resolve job-site issues while maintaining productivity. Mentor apprentices and less experienced crew members when appropriate. Qualifications 3-10 years of residential remodeling or carpentry experience. Experience building decks is strongly preferred. Knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and general construction methods. Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. Strong understanding of building codes and construction best practices. Proficient with common construction tools and equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
