Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Foreman to join our dynamic construction management team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise will drive project success through effective management of teams, meticulous review of technical drawings, and strategic scheduling. Duties Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Supervise on-site teams, including crew management, safety protocols, and quality control measures in accordance with OSHA regulations. Oversee construction site activities, installation, heavy civil work, and infrastructure development, ensuring all work meets industry standards. Manage contracts, procurement processes, and subcontractor relationships to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Review construction drawings for accuracy; interpret schematics; coordinate with engineers and architects to resolve issues promptly. Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling; adjust plans as needed to address delays or unforeseen challenges. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and team members to provide updates and resolve issues swiftly. Requirements Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management roles with a strong background in managing large-scale projects. Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, or similar tools. Deep understanding of construction scheduling, project estimating, budgeting, and cost control techniques. Extensive knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams on active construction sites; excellent communication skills for managerial oversight. Familiarity with managing contracts and procurement processes within the context of civil or commercial projects.
