Summary Bonitz, Inc. is looking for a full time Drywall and Ceilings Foreman who has the capacity to lead and influence both internally and externally. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and sustain long term relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, end users, and internal team members. This person is an expert at learning and understanding the industry and manages the overall implementation of multiple projects, safely and with high quality. Overview Founded in 1954, Bonitz, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned specialty trade commercial contractor serving the construction industry. Bonitz designs and installs custom flooring, walls, ceilings, and cladding systems. We also offer access flooring, terrazzo, other specialty flooring, and floor care services. We are committed to providing best in class project consulting, project management, and craftsmanship while delivering superior service and practical solutions. Bonitz operates 14 locations across SC, NC, GA, TN, VA, LA, and FL. Position Essential Duties Manage projects from blueprints to completion, including timelines Plan, schedule, and order materials and equipment Develop project layouts and translate blueprint information into actual work Schedule and coordinate manpower, materials, and daily field activities Direct and supervise field crews of approximately 10 to 20 employees Track field personnel hours and submit accurate timesheets on time Attend and actively participate in subcontractor coordination meetings Communicate professionally with customers, General Contractors, Project Managers, and other trades Ensure a safe working environment and the well-being of associates Train and develop associates Track and document project status daily Trade Experience Hands on field experience leading crews in the following scopes: Metal stud framing, including interior partitions, soffits, and hard lid framing Drywall hanging and finishing, including levels of finish and fire-rated assemblies Acoustical ceiling suspension grid and tile installation Interior wall systems and related specialty finishes Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a Foreman, 5 or more years preferred Proficient with Procore and Autodesk Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience managing field crews of approximately 10 to 20 employees Strong leadership, organization, and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient math and computer skills Strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and schedule Dependable, accountable, and capable of working with minimal supervision OSHA 30-hour certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required Safety Requirements Ensure that all safety training and certifications are up to date or scheduled Stay compliant with all Bonitz safety policies to ensure a safe and efficient workplace Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks Maintain up to date knowledge of the equipment and training required for each job Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Comprehensive health insurance Competitive 401(k) match Paid time off and holidays Professional and personal development opportunities
