You'll run the crew, run the equipment, and make sure every phase passes inspection the first time. What you'll do: Lead install work: water line and sewer line installs/replacements, repipes, remodels, and some new-construction rough-in Tow equipment trailers to and from jobsites Operate a mini excavator for trenching and utility line work Plan and direct daily jobsite activity for on-time, code-compliant completion Supervise and mentor crew members, assigning tasks and overseeing quality Catch and communicate jobsite issues, delays, or conflicts before they become problems Confirm materials and equipment — including the trailer and excavator — are ready and in good order before work starts Keep job records (progress, labor, milestones) current in HouseCall Pro Represent Plumber Today professionally with builders, inspectors, and vendors What you bring: 3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience with water line, sewer line, repipe, or remodel install work Experience towing an equipment trailer with a truck (required) Experience operating a mini excavator for trenching/utility work (required) Working knowledge of applicable plumbing codes Comfortable in trenches, crawl spaces, and active jobsites in all weather Prior crew-lead experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check NC plumbing license a plus, not required
