We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team and lead electrical crews on commercial projects. Position Summary The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical work in the field while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans, specifications, and company standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced electrician who can lead a crew, troubleshoot problems, communicate effectively with project management, and keep a job moving forward. Pay & Schedule $28-$35 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Full-time 40 hours per week Commercial construction environment Paid Time Off Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial job sites Plan and coordinate daily electrical work Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, specifications, and schedules Assign tasks to electricians and apprentices based on project needs Ensure work is completed correctly, efficiently, and according to the project schedule Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed Identify potential problems and communicate them to management promptly Coordinate with General Contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Ensure employees follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements Monitor material and equipment needs and communicate shortages before they impact the project Verify that materials and installations meet project specifications Assist with material takeoffs and jobsite material planning when needed Track daily progress and provide accurate daily reports Document jobsite issues, delays, changes, and other important project information Help maintain productivity and minimize unnecessary labor costs Train and mentor apprentices and less-experienced electricians Ensure company tools and equipment are properly maintained and secured Represent Total Electric and More professionally on every job site Qualifications 10+ years of electrical experience preferred Previous Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician experience preferred Strong commercial electrical construction experience Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and blueprints Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and identify problems Ability to lead and direct a crew Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Reliable transportation to job sites Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver electrical materials and equipment Must be comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and at heights Must be willing to work in varying weather and jobsite conditions Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license Experience supervising commercial electrical projects Experience working with General Contractors Experience with federal, military, or government projects OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification CPR/First Aid certification Experience supervising apprentices and electricians Experience with conduit installation, panels, lighting, equipment connections, and commercial electrical systems What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Takes ownership of their job site Can lead a crew without constant supervision Shows up on time and is dependable Communicates problems before they become bigger problems Takes pride in quality workmanship Can keep employees productive and on task Understands that documentation and communication are part of the job Treats customers, General Contractors, coworkers, and other trades professionally Is willing to help wherever needed to keep the project moving Why Join Total Electric and More?
