Position Summary:
THIS POSITION MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE ON-CALL ROTATION.
The Underground Foreman will supervise and coordinate the underground utility crew. This position will be responsible for installing, removing, and wiring of underground electric power distribution to include: new infrastructure as well as repairs to existing lines, upgrades, installing service drop lines from poles to customers' premises, switchgears, and line installations. The Foreman will also help train and develop apprentices on the job, prepare reports, submit timekeeping, and job briefings as needed.
Requirements:
Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Valid Class A or B CDL license or permit and current valid DOT physical required.
Previous experience in underground power distribution required.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Safe driving record.
Must have a positive and cooperative attitude and excellent attendance.
Must be able to get along with fellow workers, other tradesmen on the jobsite, inspectors, customers, and the public.
Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds.
Set an example with proper use of safety equipment and PPE.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all types of hand tools.

Requires the ability to frequently lift and/or carry materials and/or supplies and other materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifting and/or carrying of materials and/or supplies weighing up to 100 lbs.
