Job Description
Summary The Field Installation Foreman is the field leader responsible for delivering commercial HVAC projects safely, efficiently, and with the quality our customers expect from Enervise. This role leads technicians and installers on job sites, coordinates with project managers and customers, and helps ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to Enervise standards. Work is performed with a focus on safety, quality, communication, and courteous service to customers and fellow associates.
Duties Include:
Lead and supervise field crews on commercial HVAC projects. Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite needs. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, construction documents, and project plans. Ensure installation quality meets company, customer, project, and code requirements. Maintain a strong focus on safety and reinforce all Enervise and customer jobsite safety standards. Train, coach, and mentor technicians, installers, apprentices, and other assigned field team members. Communicate project updates, challenges, and recommended solutions with internal teams, customers, contractors, and other trades. Monitor productivity and workmanship to support successful project completion. Complete required documentation, timekeeping, job reports, material updates, and project communication accurately and timely. Promote a positive team culture and uphold Enervise core values through professionalism, ownership, and accountability. Job Qualifications & Physical Requirements Must demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial HVAC installation practices, equipment, and field coordination. Must be able to lead others, communicate clearly, make sound jobsite decisions, and resolve routine field issues with minimal assistance. Must be able to read and apply blueprints, specifications, installation drawings, and project documents. Must be capable of working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, active construction environments, and varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Must be capable of exerting physical effort required for field work, including lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs., climbing ladders, working from lifts or elevated platforms, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, and using hand and power tools. Hearing, vision, depth perception, and communication abilities must be sufficient to safely receive instructions, identify hazards, operate tools and equipment, and communicate with customers and team members.Requirements:
High school diploma or GED 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience 2+ years of experience leading crews or serving in a lead technician / lead installer role Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record Ability to pass required background check and drug screening requirementsEducation and Experience:
Journeyman certification or equivalent trade experience preferred. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. Experience coordinating work with subcontractors, general contractors, and other trades preferred. Enervise is an Equal Opportunity EmployerBenefits
