Job Description

Commercial Electrical Foreman — Harrisburg, PA Depending on experience J.M. Reist Electrical is a privately owned, master-licensed merit shop electrical contractor serving central Pennsylvania since 2014. We're hiring a full-time Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. Most job sites are within an hour of Harrisburg. What you'll do Running the job: Lead crews of 2-10 on commercial construction projects from start to finish Lay out work from blueprints and specifications Coordinate schedule, manpower, and material needs with superintendents and project managers Identify and communicate change-order work before it's performed Run lockout/tagout and hold the crew to a high safety standard, with full authority to stop unsafe work In the field: Install, test, and troubleshoot wiring, panelboards, switchgear, devices, and fixtures Bend and run conduit, pull wire Install fire alarm and telecommunications systems Diagnose faults with a meter and drive them to resolution Operate lifts, telehandlers, and excavators Keep tools and vehicles in working order What you need 4+ years as a journeyman electrician (card required) Completed apprenticeship or two-year trade/vocational program — IEC apprenticeship graduates preferred Commercial construction experience — required Working knowledge of the 2020 NEC Own hand tools, cordless drill and impact (additional cordless tools a plus) Valid PA driver's license and clean driving record Pre-employment drug screen and skills assessment To apply: Email your resume to office@reistelectric.com
