Job Description
A.H. Moyer, Inc. is a full service Mechanical Contractor that performs HVAC, Plumbing and Excavation work for both residential and commercial customers. We are seeking an Excavation Jobsite Superintendent to join our team. This position is ideal for someone that is experienced in the installation of Water Mains, Sewer Mains and storm sewer. You will be in charge of overseeing jobsites with a crew of 3-8 employees, coordinating installation of work, preparing material lists for order, and coordinating with subcontractors, engineers and owners. Duties Oversee day-to-day jobsite activities Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Maintain project schedules and monitor progress Enforce safety standards and company policies Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, owners and engineers. Be able to lead a team of 3-8 employees and designate tasks. Be able to read and understand blueprints, relevant products and project concepts. Coordinate work with other trades, owners, engineers and architects and be able to communicate with them effectively. Provide daily updates on job status and any foreseen obstacles with the Project Manager. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites and work vehicle.
