With over 25 years of experience, Conestoga® Buildings is a leader in post-frame construction, specializing in high-quality pole barn projects. We're expanding our team and looking for experienced builders who are dedicated, skilled, and ready to bring their talents to a company that values hard work and craftsmanship. What You'll Do The Crew Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of a construction crew on-site. This position requires hands-on, dependable, and confident leadership to ensure quality workmanship, on-time task completion, adherence to safety standards, and effective collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Leadership:

Supervise a field crew and manage daily site operations for residential, commercial, and government construction projects. Train and mentor crew members, ensuring productivity and proper construction techniques. Identify and address job site issues promptly to minimize delays and rework.

Team Collaboration :

Work alongside a skilled team of builders to meet project deadlines and uphold Conestoga's standards. Communicate with company management regarding progress and issues.

Lifting and Climbing :

Ability to lift over 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely at heights up to 40 feet.

Traveling :

Willingness to travel (2 ½ hour radius from Ephrata), including overnight stays, when necessary, to meet project requirements.

What We're Looking For Experience :

Minimum of 5 years hands-on construction experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership/foreman role.

Skills :

Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and government construction practices, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Capability :

Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting, climbing, and standing on ladders for extended periods.

Reliability :

A strong work ethic, good decision-making skills, and trustworthiness.

Requirements :

Competitive Pay :

$30.00 to $35.00 per hour for straight time jobs (25% of our work), hourly rate depending on experience. $35 to $70 per hour on prevailing wage jobs (75% of our work), hourly rates are set by the prevailing wages for Carpenters per job/location. Crew bonus's paid on efficiency.
