The Commercial Electrical Foreman will oversee day-to-day field operations for an assigned electrical crew. This position is responsible for coordinating manpower, materials, tools, documentation, quality, safety, and productivity to ensure work is completed efficiently and in accordance with project requirements. The Foreman will provide direction to crew members, monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure completed work meets applicable standards. Qualifications 6+ years of electrical industry experience with a High School diploma or GED. 4+ years of electrical industry experience with an Associate degree. Responsibilities Develop productivity plans for the assigned electrical scope and establish daily priorities for the crew. Coordinate material delivery and staging by designated work areas or floors while maintaining accurate material inventory. Determine the tools and equipment needed for each crew and ensure proper assignment, inspection, tracking, and accountability of those items, including gang box assignments and tool sign-in/sign-out procedures. Ensure each crew has the necessary project information and documentation, including contract drawings, shop drawings, panel schedules, cut sheets, and other applicable materials. Monitor crew break periods and help minimize productivity losses. Complete and submit daily labor and production reports documenting hours and units worked by each employee assigned to the Foreman. Inspect completed electrical installations to verify workmanship and compliance with applicable quality control procedures and checklists. Direct and oversee installation activities to ensure all work is performed professionally and meets established quality expectations. Maintain current as-built documentation by updating drawings and recording changes on the project record drawings at least once each week. Conduct end-of-day accountability checks for tools and equipment assigned to the crew. Ensure all items are properly secured and accounted for, with required inventory and inspection documentation submitted each Monday. Complete documentation for any tools or equipment that are lost, stolen, or damaged. Review applicable Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) with crew members before work begins. Ensure each crew member reviews and signs the appropriate documentation and that completed forms are maintained in the designated field location. Perform required inspections of support equipment and submit equipment inspection documentation on a weekly basis for equipment assigned to the Foreman. Follow established procedures for accident and incident response, investigation, and documentation. Ensure all required reports are completed and submitted within 24 hours of an incident. Maintain housekeeping standards within the assigned work area. The Foreman and Crew Leader are responsible for ensuring their areas of responsibility are cleaned and left in broom-swept condition at the end of each workday.

$39.50 - $43.50 per hour
