Working Foreman - Heavy Civil / Water & Wastewater Payton Construction, Inc. | Wimberley, TX Payton Construction, Inc. has been building throughout Central Texas since 1988. We are a general contractor specializing in water and wastewater construction, with treatment plants and pump stations being the core of our business. Our projects range up to $20 million and are primarily built for cities, municipalities, and water providers. Most projects last approximately 2 years, giving our crews the opportunity to see a project through from beginning to completion. We self-perform a significant portion of our work, including concrete, piping, and dirt work. The Position We're looking for a Working Foreman who knows how to get work done. You'll lead a small crew of 3-4 laborers and be responsible for the work your crew puts in place. This is a hands-on leadership position working across multiple scopes of construction. Our crews self-perform concrete, piping, and dirt work, so we're looking for a foreman who is comfortable directing and performing different types of work rather than being limited to a single trade. You'll direct the work, keep the crew productive, make sure the work is safe and built correctly, and get your tool belt on when the job calls for it. You will work under a General Superintendent and be responsible for your crew and the work they perform—not managing subcontractors.
