Construction Laborer/ Equipment Operator/ Foreman

On the east entrance of Zion National Park there are a lot of great projects happening and we need to hire those who want to be part of the growing opportunities here. We are currently looking for full-time general laborers, equipment operators, and foreman working 40-hour work weeks. 5-day work weeks are preferred but we can generally accommodate 4-day work weeks if needed. We are willing to train the right individuals with little to no experience. If you are proactive and want to help build up the company and community. Company Summary Hi-Road Building and Development is a licensed general engineering and general building contractor in the state of Utah, specializing in comprehensive construction and development services from design and site preparation through final vertical construction. We are currently engaged in several commercial, hospitality, and residential development projects in the Mt. Carmel, Utah area. Our goal is to provide high-quality work with a strong focus on efficiency and long-term value. We are actively performing pre-design, earthmoving, grading, infrastructure installation, site preparation, and critical groundwork activities necessary for successful builds. As the projects advance, we will transition into vertical construction, overseeing the development of structures and bringing each project from the ground up to completion. With expertise spanning both heavy civil work and building construction, Hi-Road Building and Development offers local property owners a streamlined approach that integrates site development and structural construction under one experienced team. Characteristics and experience we are looking for:

• 18+ years of age and can drive/transportation to East Zion / Mount Carmel area. Living accommodations may be available
• Someone who wants to be outside in the scenic area of Zion.
• Someone who doesn't mind working on their own or in pairs on a project.
• Experience with heavy equipment (Excavators, Skid Steers, Etc.)
• Experience with common hand tools (Saws, Drills, Nail Guns, Etc.)
• Class A CDL a plus
• Someone who is mechanically inclined Responsibilities Be punctual
• arrive onsite on time, provide sufficient notice of absence where possible Be a team player
• capable of providing and following directions Aid co-workers in keeping job sites clean and maintained. Material Handling
• Be comfortable with manually lifting 50
• 100 lbs without assistance at times.

Load and offload materials safely with the assistance of equipment Use various hand tools and equipment. Advise management of upgrades, repairs, or replacements needed. Includes greasing, oiling, and performing minor repairs as needed. Read project drawings, specifications, grade stakes Ability to work extended hours, as needed and work outside in all conditions.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
