Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, manage teams of skilled workers, ensure adherence to safety standards, and guarantee that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive project success by implementing efficient construction management practices, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence large-scale commercial construction projects and foster a safe, productive work environment. Duties Supervise and manage construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. Interpret and review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide project execution accurately. Coordinate construction schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and Construction scheduling software to meet project deadlines. Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards across all site activities. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, procurement, and managing contracts using systems such as ProCore, Prolog, and HeavyBid. Conduct quality control inspections and oversee construction safety management to minimize risks and ensure regulatory adherence. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and safety logs with construction management software. Lead team meetings to communicate project updates, assign tasks, and resolve on-site issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on large-scale projects. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations. Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Prolog, and Construction scheduling tools. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for accurate project execution. Demonstrated ability in managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and quality control processes effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews efficiently while fostering a safe work environment. Excellent communication skills for managing teams and coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders. Experience with pipeline or infrastructure projects is a plus; familiarity with Ohmmeter use for electrical testing is beneficial. Knowledge of construction site safety practices including OSHA certification; experience in managing construction safety programs is preferred.
