Utility Superintendent - Hampton, VA $90,000-$145,000 A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Utility Superintendent to oversee underground utility projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong experience managing water, sewer, storm drain, and utility infrastructure work . Key Responsibilities Oversee daily field operations for underground utility projects Manage crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials Coordinate installation of water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to specifications Read and interpret plans, profiles, and utility drawings Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, and clients Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in utility or heavy civil construction Strong background in water, sewer, and storm utility installation Experience with site development, excavation, and infrastructure projects Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills OSHA certification preferred Benefits Stable pipeline of utility and infrastructure projects Health insurance and comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Opportunities for advancement and long-term growth
