Full-Time Overview Beckstrom Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead field teams on commercial construction projects in Purcellville, VA. Built on a reputation for safety, quality, and reliability, Beckstrom Electric is looking for a hands-on leader who can translate blueprints into high-quality electrical installations while keeping crews safe, productive, and on schedule. You'll oversee day-to-day field operations, mentor electricians and apprentices, coordinate with project managers, and ensure work meets project specifications and electrical codes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial electrician ready to take ownership of job-site performance while working with a company that values craftsmanship, leadership, and professional growth. Responsibilities Lead, schedule, and assign daily tasks to electricians and apprentices. Supervise field crews and maintain an efficient, productive workflow. Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ensure compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. Identify and resolve on-site electrical and technical challenges. Coordinate with project managers to keep projects progressing smoothly. Manage materials, tools, and equipment required by field crews. Maintain a clean, professional, and safe job site. Help ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Minimize material waste, installation errors, and rework. Mentor and train apprentices and junior electricians. Communicate effectively with crew members, project managers, clients, and general contractors.
