Duties Lead and manage electrical crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide installation processes. Coordinate construction schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and Procore to ensure timely project delivery. Supervise the installation of electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, lighting, and power distribution, adhering to all safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Conduct quality control inspections and oversee testing procedures using equipment like ohmmeters to verify electrical integrity. Manage procurement of materials through construction management software such as Prolog or Bluebeam, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation. Enforce construction safety protocols in compliance with federal regulations and company policies; conduct safety meetings and training sessions regularly. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling adjustments, and contract management to optimize project performance. Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with other trades to maintain seamless workflow across all phases of construction projects. Qualifications Proven experience as a construction foreman with a focus on commercial electrical projects; strong background in heavy civil or pipeline work is a plus. Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and construction site safety management. Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and Prolog. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and managing construction schedules effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Strong communication skills for managerial coordination, client interactions, and team leadership. Familiarity with managing contracts, budgeting processes, and project documentation. Valid electrician's license or equivalent certification; OSHA certification required; additional certifications in construction management preferred. Hands-on experience with tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing; excellent understanding of construction regulations applicable to commercial projects.
