Job Description
About Us Modern Shed Builders is a Pinedale-based construction company building custom sheds, shops, garages, and post-frame buildings for the community. The Role As a Foreman, you will be responsible for running the crew, keeping jobs on schedule and on spec, and making the day-to-day calls that keep the building moving. This is a hands-on leadership role: you're still swinging a hammer, but you're also the one making sure the job gets done right without someone standing over your shoulder. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the crew on-site each day, assigning tasks and keeping the job on schedule Serve as the primary on-site decision-maker, using sound judgment to solve problems as they come up Read and work from plans and specs; ensure builds meet quality standards and client expectations Communicate daily with ownership on job progress, delays, material needs, and any issues on-site Oversee safety on the job site and ensure the crew follows proper safety practices Manage material deliveries, tools, and equipment needed for each job Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable to Modern Shed Builders' standards Communicate professionally and directly with clients on-site as needed Perform hands-on framing, siding, roofing, and finish work alongside the crew What We're Looking For Prior experience leading or supervising a construction crew required Strong hands-on carpentry/construction skills across framing, roofing, and finish work Ability to read blueprints and building plans Comfortable making independent decisions on-site without daily owner oversight Strong communication skills with the crew, ownership, and clients Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Comfortable with physical labor and working outdoors in varying weather, year-round What We Offer Full-time, steady work year-round Pay based on experience: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour 6 Paid Holidays Time and a half over 40
