Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Excavation Laborer and play a vital role in shaping infrastructure projects through skilled excavation and utility work. Duties Assist with excavation activities using equipment such as excavators and loaders to prepare sites for construction projects. Operate heavy machinery safely following federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures. Perform routine maintenance on construction machinery ensuring optimal performance. Assist with grading to establish proper elevation levels for foundations and infrastructure. Follow all safety regulations diligently while working on construction sites, including adhering to federal safety standards. Collaborate with team members to execute construction work efficiently and accurately across various project phases. Qualifications Prior experience in construction or utility work is highly preferred; familiarity with excavation processes is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is advantageous. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations, including federal safety standards for heavy equipment operation. Strong understanding of construction grading, utility locating, and general construction practices. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently. Experience in these areas is not required. This is an entry level position and training will be provided.
