Construction Helper and Forklift Driver Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Helper to join our team, assisting in various construction tasks such as building grids, wall penetration, and erecting floors, walls, and ceilings. You will primarily be involved in basic construction duties, operating hand and power tools, and occasionally assisting with forklift and scissor lift operations. This role includes organizing materials and site clean-up, as well as working outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities Build grids using hand and power tools. Assist in construction tasks, including wall penetration and building sub-layers of cleanrooms. Organize materials and perform site clean-up. Operate hand and power tools efficiently. Learn and assist with forklift and scissor lift operations. Move and rig heavy equipment for tool installation. Work collaboratively in a buddy system. Follow safety rules and procedures. Essential Skills Experience in construction and production. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to perform manual labor and clean-up tasks. Mechanically inclined with basic construction knowledge. Familiarity with forklift operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 10 training preferred, but will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
