In this role, you will be an essential part of building and shaping various construction projects, from residential to commercial developments. Your energy, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will contribute directly to the successful completion of projects on time and within scope. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where every day brings new challenges and achievements. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials such as rebar, concrete forms, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Operate hand tools and power tools for tasks like concrete mixing, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work Install rebar, metal stud framing, formwork, and other structural components according to specifications Pour, spread, and finish concrete surfaces using trowels, floats, or power screeds; operate concrete pumps when necessary Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations; wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Support with specialized tasks such as stucco application, tile laying, caulking, plastering, and concrete cutting as needed Assist with the interpretation of blueprint specifications to ensure precise execution of construction plans Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards throughout all phases of construction projects Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related manual labor roles is highly preferred Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Knowledge of heavy machinery operation such as concrete mixers or pumps is advantageous Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Experience with various building techniques including carpentry, metal stud framing, concrete forming, finishing techniques like plastering or stucco application Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts Join our team if you're eager to build a solid career in construction while contributing your skills to exciting projects.
