In this energetic role, you'll work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to bring blueprints to life. Your contributions will help shape communities while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise in the construction industry and work alongside experienced professionals committed to excellence. Duties Perform demolition work safely and efficiently Paint interiors and exteriors with attention to detail Perform drywall installation and finishing Install various types of flooring (laminate, hardwood, tile, etc.) Assist with plumbing work (e.g., faucet, toilet, and pipe installations) Keep worksite clean, organized, and safe Follow project plans, instructions, and safety protocols Collaborate with team members to build structures according to design specifications. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various construction tools and equipment safely Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Proficiency in concrete forming, concrete finishing, and concrete cutting techniques Knowledge of rebar installation, formwork construction, and metal stud framing methods Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of safety protocol adherence Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Hands-on experience working on diverse construction projects with a focus on safety and quality standards
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in construction/remodeling preferred Knowledge in one or more of the following: painting, flooring, electric, plumbing Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for long periods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must have valid work authorization and documents to legally work in the United States Punctual, dependable, and professional Must be able and flexible to work at various job sites within California as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your skills build more than structures — they build futures!
