Overview Join the construction crew as a Construction Laborer and help move projects forward through hands-on site work. You'll support concrete, hardscape, carpentry, and finishing tasks while following construction workplace safety regulations and established safety protocols.

Your impact:

Careful preparation and quality workmanship help crews build durable structures and create safer, more reliable spaces for the people who use them. Duties Prepare work areas, move materials, perform heavy lifting, and use hand tools and power tools safely. Assist with formwork construction, concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete mixing, pouring, pumping, cutting, and finishing. Support carpentry, metal stud framing, hardscape installation, tile laying, plastering, caulking, and stucco work. Read construction plans and blueprints, interpret technical drawings and blueprint specifications, and help with construction estimating. Maintain an orderly site, inspect tools and equipment, and follow safety procedures throughout construction projects. Experience Construction experience or construction site experience is preferred; experience working on construction projects is valuable. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with a concrete mixer, concrete pump, hand tools, and power tools are helpful. Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a crew, and adhere to safety protocols is essential. Experience with concrete, formwork, rebar, carpentry, or finishing tasks is an asset.

Pay:

$26.01 - $31.33 per hour Expected hours: 23.0 - 38.0 per week
