CIPP Installation Laborer Industry:
Underground Construction / Pipeline Rehabilitation We are seeking dependable and hardworking CIPP Installation Laborers for an upcoming construction project located in Santa Barbara, California . The ideal candidate will have experience working in underground construction, sewer/storm drain rehabilitation, pipeline construction, or Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) installation . This position involves working as part of a crew performing pipeline rehabilitation and assisting with all phases of CIPP installation. Responsibilities Assist with setup and installation of CIPP liners. Assist with preparation, handling, and positioning of liner materials. Assist crew with cleaning and preparing existing pipelines prior to installation. Set up and maintain hoses, pumps, equipment, tools, and jobsite materials. Assist with CIPP inversion and/or pull-in-place installation operations. Assist with curing operations and monitoring equipment as directed. Help with equipment mobilization and demobilization. Perform general construction labor including lifting, loading, digging, cleanup, and material handling. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company, project, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements. Work safely around construction equipment, confined-space operations, traffic, and underground utilities. Follow instructions from the Foreman, Superintendent, and CIPP Installation Supervisor. Perform other duties necessary to successfully complete the project. Qualifications CIPP installation experience Previous experience in sewer, storm drain, pipeline, utility, or underground construction is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding construction work. Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be dependable and able to report to work on time. Must follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions. Must be able to work effectively as part of a construction crew. Must have reliable transportation to the project/jobsite. Valid driver's license is preferred. OSHA 10, Confined Space, CPR/First Aid, or other construction safety certifications are a plus. Work Conditions This is an active construction position.
Employees may be required to:
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift throughout the workday. Work around heavy equipment and underground utilities. Work in or near sewer and storm drain systems. Work extended shifts, nights, or weekends when required by project operations. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Project Location Santa Barbara, California Applicants should be able to reliably commute to the Santa Barbara project area. For are willing to pay Per Diem and Stay if you are not local but have the experiance needed to complete this project. Pay:
