ABOUT STONERIDGE EXCAVATION
Stoneridge Excavation LLC is a growing excavation and earthwork contractor serving residential, commercial, and municipal clients throughout Northern Colorado. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Laborer/Trainee is an entry-level position for individuals looking to start a career in the excavation industry. You will support experienced operators and crew members on job sites while learning the fundamentals of site work, equipment operation, and excavation safety. No prior experience required — we will train the right person.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist with site preparation, grading, and cleanup Support trenching operations for utilities and foundations Help with excavation for basements, footings, and drainage systems Perform manual labor including shoveling, raking, and material handling Set up and maintain erosion control measures Assist with equipment maintenance (fueling, greasing, daily inspections) Learn to read grade stakes and follow site plans Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily safety talks
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Valid driver's license (required) Reliable transportation to job sites or shop location Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Physically able to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday Willingness to learn and take direction No experience required — attitude and work ethic matter most.

SCHEDULE & BENEFITS
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays based on project needs
Report Location:
Shop or direct to job site depending on the project Benefits include: Paid holidays Paid time off (PTO) Tool/boot allowance
CAREER PATH
We promote from within. Laborers who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn can advance to Equipment Operator Level I within 6-12 months. From there, the path continues to Operator II, Operator III/Lead, Foreman, and beyond. We invest in training and want to see you grow. Join us in building something great! Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
