Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in building, renovating, and restoring structures across various projects. Your hands-on work will involve heavy lifting, operating power tools, and supporting the installation of concrete, framing, and finishing elements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction skills while contributing to high-quality projects in a fast-paced environment. All work is paid, and safety is our top priority as you gain valuable experience on diverse construction sites. Duties Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to ensure smooth and durable surfaces. Support rebar installation and concrete formwork construction to prepare for pouring operations. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as framing, trimming, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to follow specifications accurately. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for site preparation, restoration, renovation, and heavy-duty tasks like metal stud framing and concrete pumping. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations. Assist with the installation of structural components including formwork, rebar, metal studs, and trim carpentry elements. Support project teams by interpreting technical drawings, measuring materials accurately, and ensuring quality standards are met. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required. Familiarity with heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and pumps is advantageous. Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and workplace safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with confidence. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for tasks like concrete finishing or tile laying. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in various weather conditions. Pay:
$25.82 - $31.09 per hour
