Job Description

Construction Helper / Installer - Oxygen Systems Altitude Solutions Inc.
  • Glenwood Springs, CO $25.00-$35.00 per hour
  • Full-time
  • Immediate opening No oxygen system experience required.
We train and certify our own installers, and this role can lead to a project manager position. About us Altitude Solutions is the company that built the residential oxygen enrichment category in the Rocky Mountains. For more than 20 years we've engineered and installed systems in high-altitude homes across Colorado with a focus on Aspen, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and Telluride. Our systems raise the oxygen level inside a home's bedrooms so people can sleep and recover the way they would thousands of feet lower. It's real engineering with a result the homeowner feels on the first night. We are a small, tight crew, and we never sub out our installations to HVAC contractors or plumbers. Every system is installed by certified oxygen installers. We're looking to add one more to the Glenwood crew. What you'll actually be doing
  • You'll work alongside our project managers on residential installations, in both new construction and retrofits into finished homes. Day to day, that means:
  • Running specialized oxygen tubing from the equipment location to the outlet ports in each enrichment zone, usually bedrooms
  • Fishing tubing through walls, ceilings, floor systems, attics and crawl spaces
  • Drilling and cutting drywall to open access points, keeping openings to the fewest and neatest practical
  • Ladder work, and a lot of it
  • Setting and moving oxygen generation equipment
  • Pulling low-voltage control wire and helping install controls and outlet ports
  • Loading and unloading the truck, keeping the job site and the shop organized
  • Protecting finishes and cleaning up behind yourself every single day What we require
  • At least one year of experience in light construction, remodeling, or a related trade
  • Comfortable and confident with basic hand and power tools
  • Able to work from ladders at height, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance, with or without reasonable accommodation. Our equipment units weigh about 150 lbs and are always moved as a team using proper lifting equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Willing and able to travel overnight, roughly one week per month
  • Professional, courteous conduct and a neat, job-appropriate appearance. We work in some of the most expensive homes in the country, often while the owners are living in them, so how the crew carries itself on site is part of the job.
  • Dependable. Show up on time, every day, ready to work.
  • Authorized to work in the United States Nice to have, but not required
  • Experience running conduit, wire or tubing of any kind
  • Drywall cutting and patching experience
  • Familiarity with high-end residential construction and working around other trades
  • Any low-voltage or electrical exposure
  • OSHA 10 You do not need any experience with oxygen systems.
Nobody comes to us with it. We'll teach you the system, the standards, and the safety requirements, and certify you as an installer. Travel Our service region covers all of Colorado, so a portion of our work is beyond day-trip range. Expect roughly one week per month of overnight travel.
When you travel:
  • All travel expenses are paid by the company
  • Lodging is covered
  • You are paid for drive time
  • You receive a meal stipend for every day away
  • Travel is scheduled in advance. You will know what's coming. Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. You'll report to our Glenwood Springs shop each morning and head out to the job site from there. Overtime is available and is paid at time and a half over 40 hours in a week. Pay and benefits
  • $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Health/Dental/Vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan (401k/IRA up to 3% matching)
  • Company vehicle for work travel and company-provided tools
  • Meal stipend and paid drive time on all overnight travel
  • Paid training and installer certification
  • Overtime available, paid at time and a half over 40 hours Where this can go: Project Manager This is not a dead-end helper job.
Our project managers came up through this role. If you're reliable, you learn the system, and you want more responsibility, there is a real path here to being promoted to project manager and running your own installations, with the pay and authority that comes with it. We would rather promote you than hire over you. Tell us in your application if that's what you're after. Pre-employment Employment is contingent on a background check and a motor vehicle record check. We enter clients' homes and drive company vehicles, so both are required. How to apply Apply directly through Indeed. We are hiring immediately and reviewing applications as they come in. We anticipate closing this posting on September 15th, 2026. If the position is still open after that date, we will update this posting with a new anticipated closing date. Altitude Solutions Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
