Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of construction machinery, support site activities, and contribute to successful project completion. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to learn and grow within our company. Duties Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, and skid steers for utility installation purposes. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation, material handling, and general labor tasks as needed to keep projects progressing smoothly. Follow all federal construction safety regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Support utility locating efforts and assist with paving operations when required. Drive commercial trucks for transporting materials or equipment between sites while adhering to all commercial driving regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project deadlines are met. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, or horizontal drilling machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus. Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery. Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and safety standards on job sites. Construction site experience with knowledge of various machinery. Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments and work effectively as part of a team. Strong understanding of utility locating techniques and construction safety practices. Knowledge of paving operations and tanker handling is advantageous but not mandatory.
