In this energetic role, you will assist in a variety of construction activities, supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to building durable structures, beautiful landscapes, and inspiring renovations. Duties Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Operate hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials Support concrete-related activities including mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete to specifications Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics for concrete structures Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute construction plans and specifications Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely across the site while adhering to safety protocols Support masonry, drywall installation, roofing, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and other finishing tasks as needed Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution Knowledge of construction estimating processes and understanding of construction workplace safety regulations Skilled in concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques Familiarity with rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, carpentry including trim carpentry and frame carpentry Ability to interpret construction plans for renovation projects or new builds with attention to detail Experience working on diverse construction projects such as commercial buildings, restorations or residential developments This role offers an exciting chance to grow your construction expertise while contributing to impactful projects.
