Job Description
Experienced Automotive Vinyl Wrap Installer SunFun Luxury Auto Wraps is looking for an experienced Automotive Vinyl Wrap Installer to join our growing team in the Tampa Bay area. We specialize in high-end automotive vinyl wraps, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, window tint, and custom vehicle styling. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can consistently produce clean, professional installations. Pay $22-$30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level Experienced installers with strong portfolios and the ability to independently complete full vehicle wraps can qualify for the higher end of the range. Requirements 3+ years of professional automotive vinyl wrapping experience Must have experience wrapping full vehicles, not just decals or small graphics Strong knowledge of vinyl installation techniques Ability to work with complex curves, body lines, recessed areas, mirrors, bumpers, and other difficult sections Able to properly stretch, heat, post-heat, and finish vinyl Able to perform clean, precise cuts with minimal risk to the vehicle Experience with major vinyl brands such as 3M, Avery, KPMF, Oracal, or similar Must be able to properly prepare vehicles before installation Must be comfortable removing trim, handles, lights, emblems, and other components when necessary Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Able to work independently and as part of a team Must have a strong portfolio or examples of previous work Responsibilities Install full and partial color-change vehicle wraps Install commercial and specialty vehicle graphics Properly clean and prepare vehicles for installation Remove existing vinyl wraps when required Safely disassemble and reassemble vehicle components when necessary Perform high-quality finishing, trimming, post-heating, and edge work Inspect completed work for imperfections before delivery Maintain a clean and organized work area Protect customer vehicles and shop equipment Work efficiently while maintaining professional-quality results Communicate with the team regarding job progress and any issues that arise What We Are Looking For We are not looking for someone who is just learning how to wrap cars . We want an installer who can walk into the shop, look at a vehicle, understand the job, and confidently complete the installation to a professional standard. Quality is extremely important to us. We would rather have an installer take the appropriate amount of time to produce a clean installation than rush a job and create unnecessary rework. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: High-end color-change wraps Exotic and luxury vehicles Difficult bumpers and body kits Commercial/fleet graphics Chrome or specialty vinyl Printed vinyl Partial wraps Wrap removal PPF installation Window tint Why Join Us?
