This full-time role offers consistent hours, paid travel accommodations , and a clear pathway for advancement within the trade. ⚠️ Must be willing to travel for extended periods Key Responsibilities Assist lead installers and elevator mechanics with construction and installation tasks Perform basic mechanical and electrical work under supervision Safely operate hand tools and power tools Stage, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment Help prepare and install elevator shafts, rails, doors, and components Maintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant job sites Follow all company safety procedures and participate in required training Required Skills & Experience Previous experience in construction, mechanical, or electrical work Comfortable performing general labor tasks Experience using common hand tools and power tools Additional Qualifications Must live near Hollywood, FL Reliable transportation to local reporting locations Ability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable working at heights of up to 7 stories Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Basic math and problem-solving skills Willing and able to travel out of town for project assignments Why Join the Elevator Trade? Work Environment & Schedule Work performed in commercial and residential buildings (up to 7 stories) Hands-on, physical work including lifting, standing, and working in confined mechanical spaces Home base near Hollywood, FL , with most work performed out of town Travel assignments may last up to 3 weeks at a time Hotel accommodations fully provided while traveling Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week Typical start time: 7:30 - 8:00 AM Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Davie, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
