Full Job Description Skilled Laborer Key Responsibilities:
Perform skilled trade tasks such as concrete forming, rebar placement, pipe laying, or finish work based on project needs Read and interpret basic plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to lay out and complete work Verify alignment, grade, and dimensions before and during work Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment specific to the trade Guide and train construction laborers on proper trade techniques Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Collaborate with foremen, operators, and other trades to meet project goals Other duties as assignedRequirements:
2+ years of experience performing skilled trade tasks in construction (concrete, pipe, carpentry, or similar) Ability to read basic plans, blueprints, and grade stakes Ability to work safely and follow instructions with minimal supervision Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment OSHA 10 certification required (within 30 days of employment)Working Conditions:
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent lifting, standing, walking, and climbing Exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials May work at heights or in confined spaces Willingness to travel to construction sites Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in all interactions to foster a productive and collaborative work environmentSkills:
Physical stamina and endurance Skilled use of trade-specific tools and equipment Ability to read plans, grade stakes, and basic layout Ability to work independently and lead by example on trade tasks Attention to safety and quality controlWages/Benefits:
