Full Job Description Concrete Foreman Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of workers, including laborers, concrete finishers, and equipment operators. Oversee the setup, pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete slabs, walls, and other structural elements. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine construction requirements. Ensure all necessary forms, reinforcement, and other components are properly set before pouring concrete. Coordinate with project superintendent(s), crew members, and other foremen to ensure schedules are met and materials are available. Enforce safety regulations, ensuring that all workers adhere to site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Monitor the quality of work during all phases of the concrete process, ensuring that project specifications and standards are met. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site, including weather-related delays or equipment malfunctions. Ensure proper maintenance and use of tools and machinery, such as mixers, vibrators, and screeds. Maintain accurate daily records of labor, materials, and equipment used, and submit daily reports to management. Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in all interactions to foster a productive and collaborative work environment Other duties as assignedRequirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques, formwork, reinforcement, curing, and related processes. Expertise in forming for structural cast-in-place Proven ability to lead and manage a construction crew, ensuring productivity and safety. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with project managers, subcontractors, and team members. Ability to foresee and resolve issues related to project execution and team dynamics. OSHA 10 certification required (withing 30 days of employment) Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to travel to construction sites Valid driver's licenseWages/Benefits:
