Responsibilities Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Support erosion control measures by installing barriers, silt fences, and other protective structures to prevent soil erosion during construction activities. Operate power tools and basic equipment under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance for optimal performance. Follow all workplace safety protocols, including implementation of OSHA safety standards, to maintain a secure work environment for all team members. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform minor repairs, and report any mechanical issues promptly for maintenance or repair. Support heavy lifting tasks with proper techniques to prevent injuries and promote workplace safety at all times. Help implement erosion control strategies on-site to protect surrounding environments during construction projects. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding project progress, safety concerns, and technical requirements. Experience Previous experience in industrial or construction environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Help perform set ups and tear downs of mobile offices . Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety regulations. Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
