We're currently partnering with a well-established trailer manufacturer in Plant City that has been building high-quality dump trailers, transfer trailers, truck bodies, and suspension systems for over 20 years. They are looking to add a Painter Helper to their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in attention to detail, and wants to build a long-term career in industrial manufacturing. No painting experience is required, and on-the-job training will be provided, with opportunities to advance into an Industrial Painter role. What Makes the Job Great Stable Monday-Friday schedule with overtime opportunities Comprehensive benefits package upon permanent hire Opportunity to learn a skilled trade and grow into an Industrial Painter position What You'll Be Doing Prepare trailers and components for painting by sanding, grinding, cleaning, masking, and taping surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion and a high-quality finish Assist the Industrial Painter by staging materials, positioning parts, masking off non-painted surfaces, and preparing equipment throughout the painting process Help mix and prepare paint materials under the direction of the Industrial Painter while learning proper paint preparation techniques Move materials and completed components throughout the paint department as needed to support production Inspect surfaces prior to painting to ensure they are clean, properly prepped, and ready for paint application Safely learn to operate painting equipment and assist with cleaning spray guns, paint pots, hoses, and other painting equipment after use Help maintain paint and supply inventory by notifying management when materials need to be replenished Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies and PPE requirements Be willing to cross-train in other departments to support production needs when necessary Who We're Looking For Previous experience sanding, grinding, masking, taping, or preparing surfaces for paint is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, body shop, construction, or industrial environment is a plus. Previous painting experience is not required, but industrial or automotive painting experience is a plus. Experience using an air pressure paint pot or other industrial paint equipment is a plus. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, sanders, and grinders. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Willingness to learn industrial painting techniques and grow into an Industrial Painter position. Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in a shop environment throughout the day. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. What You Can Expect $17.00

  • 4:30pm, and Friday, 6:00am
