Duties Assist roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of different roofing systems including metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing Prepare job sites by handling materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install roofing materials according to project specifications Set up and secure ladders safely while adhering to construction safety harness protocols and workplace safety regulations Support in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution Perform heavy lifting of materials such as metal panels, shingles, siding, drywall, or stucco as needed on-site Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris regularly to promote safety and efficiency Requirements Prior construction site experience or hands-on outdoor work experience preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Basic knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, drywall installation tools, and fabrication equipment is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed construction plans accurately Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights on roofs, and outdoor conditions in all weather types Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence throughout all tasks Experience with roofing repair or metal stud framing is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Embark on a rewarding career path with us where safety meets craftsmanship!
