Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds Knowledge of use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy/highway construction work Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule Written and verbal communication skills

Drug Testing/Screening (Pre-Employment).
Job Description:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at highway construction projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris and remove waster materials. May assist other workers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects Perform manual work such as preparing surfaces for paving, concrete, maintenance of traffic, assist with setting forms for concrete, positioning sections of pipe and lawncare maintenance Fine grade fill to grades given by foreperson, fill trenches and ditches Maintain a clean job site: pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Material handling and storage. Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials Ensure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Safety Manager Work Environment:
Outdoor; Employer has dress code. Travel to various work locations, job sites, or meeting locations. Employee is regularly working near moving mechanical equipment and in outside weather conditions. Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Days & Hours:
