In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring projects progress smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support skilled tradespeople with tasks including rebar installation, concrete pouring, formwork construction, and masonry work Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work Mix and pour concrete using mixers or pumps; finish concrete surfaces for smoothness and durability Install various building components such as drywall, metal studs, flooring, tile, stucco, plastering, and caulking Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure construction environment at all times Requirements Previous experience working on construction projects or in a related trade is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete cutting equipment, and concrete pumps Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol standards Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks Basic carpentry skills including framing, formwork construction, drywall installation, and metal stud framing are desirable Experience with masonry techniques such as rebar installation and bricklaying is a plus Join our team today!
