Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a General Contractor Laborer and be a vital part of building and renovating exceptional projects! This energetic role offers hands-on experience across a variety of construction tasks, from framing and drywall to hardscaping and roofing. You'll work alongside skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment, gaining valuable skills while contributing to high-quality building projects. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of building materials, including drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, and trim carpentry. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support construction activities. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Perform site preparation, including excavation, grading, and hardscaping construction projects such as patios or walkways. Support with framing, window installation, door hanging, masonry work, and concrete forming as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members. Collaborate with supervisors on construction inspection and quality control to meet project specifications. Qualifications Proven construction experience with knowledge of building construction processes and materials. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and operating heavy equipment safely. Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction plans. Experience with various trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and drywall installation. Ability to perform outdoor work in different weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA or equivalent safety regulations.
